1.2 Silent Installation with Installer

The Jindent installer is able to proceed an installation without showing any graphical user interface. This is called 'silent' installation.

Invoke the silent installer in your console with the following command line. Example:

Windows systems: Installer.exe -q -dir "C:\Program Files\Jindent"
Linux/Unix systems: sh Installer.sh -q -dir "~/Jindent"

The parameter after -dir must be the desired installation directory.
If the installation was successful, the exit code of the installer will be 0, otherwise it will be 1.
This features is available for installers of all operating systems.

Please note: When using the silent installation mode then none of the Jindent plugins will be installed while installation process. In this case the plugins have to be installed manually.
